Horse care

Care that starts with
the horse in front of us.

Every horse at Neymoo Farms is looked after as an individual. Routines are built around what each horse needs, with people on the farm every day to keep an eye on them.

Our approach

Practical, patient and personal.

There’s no one-size-fits-all routine here. Dana and Zara get to know each horse, watch how it settles and adjust its care as it goes.

Individual routines

Feeding, turnout and work are planned around each horse, not the other way round.

Eyes on every day

A working farm means someone is always around to check on the horses.

Space and shelter

Paddock turnout for space, with covered yards when the weather or the horse needs it.

Time and patience

Horses are given the time they need to settle, recover and progress.

Day-to-day care

The everyday things, done well.

Good horse care is mostly about getting the daily basics right and noticing small changes early.

  • Feeding matched to each horse’s needs
  • Rugging to suit the weather
  • Regular health and condition checks
  • Working alongside your vet and farrier

Welfare & recovery

Time and space to recover.

Some horses come to us needing a quieter pace for a while. The farm gives them a calm environment, sheltered yards and gradual turnout, with care that follows the plan set by their vet.

  • A calm, settled environment
  • Covered yards for box rest and controlled turnout
  • Care that follows your vet’s recovery plan

Every horse recovers differently. We’ll talk honestly with you about what we can offer and what your horse needs.

How it works

Every arrangement starts with a chat.

We work with a small number of horses, so every arrangement is agreed one to one.

  1. Get in touch

Send us an enquiry with a little about you and your horse.

  2. Talk it through

We’ll call to understand your horse’s history, needs and goals.

  3. Visit the farm

Come and see the facilities and meet Dana and Zara.

  4. Agree a plan

We agree the care arrangement and timing that suits your horse.

Talk to us

Tell us about your horse.
